A planning application was prepared for a series of barns, some of which were dilapidated to reconfigure them into dwellings. We were required to provide landscape design services to support the planning application that would also include sustainable drainage principles.

Working with Knights Planning and Smyth Goldsraw Yorath Architects, Awscape were appointed to produce landscape planning designs and statements for the redevelopment of Bar Hill House Farm, a rural development of residential units and commercial premises on the outskirts of the village of Madeley in Staffordshire.
A landscape masterplan was produced with detailed plans for softworks and hardworks to accompany the full planning application along with input into the Design and Access Statement.
Awscape incorporated SuDS into the design to accompany the Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage Strategy undertaken by Pell Frischmann.
