Donnerville Gardens Residential Development, Telford

Landscape Planning | Residential Development
We were appointed to discharge the landscape conditions for this small development on the edge of Telford, ensuring it settled naturally into its countryside setting. The design focused on increasing biodiversity, connecting with the surrounding woodland, and integrating SuDS features in a way that felt part of the wider landscape.

Donnerville Gardens is a new development of five executive style homes with garages, access, and shared open space, sitting on the edge of open countryside and the Silken Way a former railway line now enjoyed as a footpath and cycle route.
Our landscape design aimed to connect the new homes with the surrounding landscape and adjacent housing, whilst softening the edges of the development with the mature woodland setting.
Planting was chosen to link with existing trees and woodland. A new access was created to Silken Way past natural play features, SuDS and wildlife ponds and hibernacula to enhance biodiversity and access to nature around the development creating a beautiful setting for these dwellings.
